WATCH: ‘Bike Vessel’ Documentary on PBS Independent Lens | Music by Zo!

I’m really excited to announce that Bike Vessel is now showing on PBS Independent Lens!! Grateful to have gotten the call to make music for it!

Knowing his dad miraculously recovered from three open-heart surgeries after discovering a passion for cycling, filmmaker Eric D. Seals proposes an ambitious idea: Bike together from St. Louis to Chicago. 350 miles. 4 days. On their journey, the two push each other as they find a deeper connection and a renewed appreciation of their quests for their own health and to reimagine Black health.

The Harold Ramis Film School at The Second City in Chicago opened its doors to Digital Café LLC and I by hosting three SOLD OUT nights of screenings + Q&As for our upcoming documentary release, Making SkyBreak (officially releasing via streaming on April 4th @ 8p and 10p EST). Through the documentary, explore his hometown of Detroit to learn about Zo!’s humble beginnings, tour his home studio in Washington D.C., and travel to a host of cities from LA to Raleigh, NC. Get ready to take a journey through SkyBreak, one of the greatest contemporary soul albums of the year.
